ORUZGAN PROVINCE, AFGHANISTAN -- Soldiers of the newly formed Afghan National Army, 1ST Company of the First Battalion, Third Brigade led into the Oruzgan Province by a team of the 3rd Special Forces Group toss an 82mm mortar while working in a human chain moving nearly ten tons of munitions from a bunker complex under the Oruzgan district headquarters to destroyed in February 2004.

RAMADI, IRAQ -- Alpha Company, 1st Battalion, 5th Marines search three young men in an alley with walls showing bullet holes while on patrol in Ramadi in July 2005. The patrol stopped the men riding together in a taxi to conduct a random inspection of the passengers and the contents of the vehicle in search of weapons or explosives. Nothing was found the men were allowed to proceed without further detainment.

ORUZGAN PROVINCE, AFGHANISTAN -- Armed Oruzgan District militia member carrying a RPG and others with heavy weapons flood into the bunker area near the Oruzgan District Chief compound when it became apparent U.S. Special Forces and Afghan National Army soldiers were going to empty and remove nearly 10 tons of munitions stored in bunkers under the compound.
